114/365 Captured Moments - Red Blueberry Bushes

Blueberry Fields - The bushes are green now, covered in white blossoms with the low hum of bees sounding across the fields as they do their work.  I anticipate the fresh fruit to come.  But mostly I look forward to when the fields are back to red.

39/365 Days of Captured Moments

I've decided to change my 365 Days series to Captured Moments.  Although I'm grateful for so very much I didn't feel that my images expressed gratitude in the way I wanted.

Captured Moments will allow me to share moments in my life, images I create from the world around me, both with my photography and the occasional painting.

We so often reach for the shiny and new and overlook the beauty in the old.  I love how the rust on this metal roof matches the red of the wintering blueberry bushes.  Did you notice that the buds are starting to open, soon the fields will be green again.  I will have to return when the blueberries are sweet and juicy.
